As the founding attorney for RG Law, PLLC, Roopal Gupta is known for her personalized approach to serving her clients and her passion for standing up for the disadvantaged. Her background in psychology gives her a unique frame of reference for understanding and empathizing with her clients and the challenges they face. At the same time, she is a firm believer in the "matter-of-fact" approach, telling her clients the unvarnished truth so they can be better equipped to navigate their situations successfully.
Currently focusing her practice primarily on personal injury law, Ms. Gupta brings more than 17 years of proven experience to the table, having tried more than 100 cases in the state and federal courts of Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia. She welcomes all clients, but she is especially passionate about protecting the interests of children and the parents of children. She is a certified Guardian ad Litem in Virginia and has served in that capacity many times, participating in numerous court-approved compromise settlements for minors. Ms. Gupta also has an abiding passion for representing the interests of minorities. She understands the unique challenges they face, from being stigmatized for their accents to being forced to take menial jobs, often despite their professional credentials.
Roopal Gupta holds B.A. in Psychology from Rutgers University and a J.D. degree from Quinnipiac College School of Law. She is a licensed member of the Virginia State Bar, Maryland State Bar, District of Columbia Bar, and New Jersey State Bar. She is also a member of the Northern Virginia Women Attorney Association, Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Virginia, South Asian Bar Association, Montgomery County Bar Association, and Fairfax Bar Association.
In her limited spare time, Ms. Gupta enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She is always delighted to discover new experiences both globally and locally.
